Welding

WELDER/FABRICATOR

Excellent opportunity to join our team in a varied workshop based role with the potential to boost your earnings exponentially with plentiful overtime opportunities. We are now looking to grow our team with keen and enthusiastic candidates. In this role you will be based in the workshop assisting with the production of specialist products using MIG and TIG welding. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in MIG or TIG welding.

YARD PERSON / DRIVER

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Yard Person/Driver to join the team at Henson Engineering, due to continued growth.

​

This is a varied role primarily carrying out yard duties as well as deliveries.

When not making deliveries, you will be based at our premises, carrying out yard duties including unloading deliveries, tidying, washing equipment, and carrying out some basic engineering tasks.

Your key responsibilities would include:

  • Serving our customers politely and professionally at all times

  • Unloading and loading vehicles

  • Maintaining stock levels through the ordering procedure

  • Keeping the yard organised, clean and tidy

  • Ensuring that the yard is a safe and secure environment

  • Completing all necessary paperwork in line with company procedures

  • Preparing and cleaning machines ready for hire

  • Maintaining all the machines in the yard

  • Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are met by all staff and visitors to the yard

  • Accepting deliveries, checking for damage and quantities etc and responsibility for signing delivery notes

  • Parking and arranging excavators, telehandlers etc

  • Washing and valet of machinery and vehicles

  • General maintenance duties

There is also an option to progress further within the workshop and training will be provided.

Construction Workers

GENERAL SITE LABOURER

We are looking for a General Site Labourer to join our busy team!
Our work is varied, anything from garden railings to steel framed buildings, so we are looking for someone who is both enthusiastic with a good work ethic and happy to undertake whatever job is required of them.
Our preferred candidate will have experience in the construction trade however someone who is punctual, able to use their own initiative and willing to learn will suit.
Hours would normally be 8:00 till 17:00 Mon - Fri, however flexibility is essential.
